INTO ORBITSM

Explore living in and traveling through space

Gather your crew and get ready to explore, challenge and innovate in the demanding and inspiring expanse we call space! The 2018/19 FIRST® LEGO® League Season requires you to work together to break out of your earthly constraints. Do you have what it takes to go INTO ORBITSM?

FIRST® LEGO® League challenges children ages 9 to 14 to think like scientists and engineers. During the 2018/19 INTO ORBITSM Season, teams will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO®MINDSTORMS technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under Core Values celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism.

Dublin Robotics & CORI will be hosting a FIRST Robotics Challenge 30+ team competition at Dublin Coffman High School with FLL and FTC demonstrations on Saturday, June 18, 2016.

Come learn about FIRST Robotics and what it means to be a team. We will try to answer all your questions about coaching a team and have live demonstrations for Jr. FLL, FLL, FTC and FRC.

Do you have time to build a Sumo-bot?  Bring a small remote control robot made from your NXT or EV3 kit. We will have a ring set up to test your remote control skills and you will win bragging rights.

We are looking for teams to scrimmage their FLL and FTC robots. Please contact Cindy Bryden at the link on this page to sign up. This is a great chance to share robot design and programming skills with other teams and just have a great time.
