PROGRAM THEM WITH SENSORS
COMPETE AGAINST OTHER DUBLIN TEAMS!
FIRST LEGO® League Challenge is a program for 4th and 5th graders in Dublin City Schools.
Let us know if you want to join in the fun! We are only able to offer the program in elementary schools that have support from the school administration so that there can be a staff member on hand. The FIRST LEGO® League Challenge season is from April through May, meeting once or twice a week after school for approximately 90 minutes.
Using LEGO® MINDSTORM® bricks and other elements, such as sensors, motors, and gears, teams of students will work together to learn the key principles of engineering as they construct and program their unique inventions. We are proud to have the students from the Dublin Robotics high school team and the middle school FIRST LEGO® League teams mentor this program. Advisors from Dublin City Schools, parent coaches, and the Dublin Robotics Boosters also support these teams.
